This post is a celebration of what we've achieved together and a heartfelt thank-you to our partners and the the running community for your trust an support.

A Year of Milestones and Growth

From attending iconic races to collecting groundbreaking data, 2024 has been nothing short of extraordinary. With your collaboration we've:

  • Expanded Our Reach: Entered emerging markets in the Middle East, while continuing to strengthen our presence in North America, Europe and Asia.

  • Build Deeper Partnerships: Worked closely with some of the world's leading running shoe brands to refine strategies and uncover trends.

  • Delivered Actionable Insights: Helped our clients make data-driven decisions that connect them to runners around the world.

Every step of the journey has been driven by our passion for the sport and the commitment to doing things with integrity and precision.

2024 Race Highlights that Surprised Us

Falmouth Road Race - Northeast Insights Beyond the Elites

Known as one of the most competitive races on the calendar, Falmouth is a also a fantastic reflection on of the running culture in the northeastern U.S. This Year's race broke away from the norm: super shoes which dominate the top 10 In most of the top marathons around the world barely registered with 1 shoe in the top 10 for men and none in the top 10 for women.

Great North Run - A Massive Regional Event

Held in Newcastle, England this event featured many of the world's top marathoners prepping for their fall races. Behind the elites were regional runners, where we observed: the Brooks Ghost was the top shoe for both men and women. Like Falmouth super shoes had a smaller presence with 3 in the top 10 for men and none for women.

Mexico City Marathon - adidas Makes History

This race marked a watershed moment in Latin America. For the first time since 2018, a Nike shoe was not the #1 shoe overall in a major marathon. The adidas Adios Pro 3 dominated for both men and women making adidas the top brand- a testament to the brand's decades-long effort to reinvigorate running in the region.

Lookin Ahead to 2025

We are starting the new year strong, with 70+ races already on the calendar and more to come! Here is a glimpse at the first three major events where Jewell Running Group will be gathering insights:

  • Dubai Marathon and 10K - January 5, 2025 - Dubai, UAE

  • Mumbai Marathon - January 9, 2025 - Mumbai, India

  • Riyadh Marathon - February 8, 2025 - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Thank You for an Incredible Year

To all the brands we work with, thank you. Your support has been the driving force behind everything we've accomplished in 2024. As we look ahead to 2025, we're more motivated than ever to continue delivering the insights, fostering connections, and celebrating the sport we love.
